Well, we have been due an update for some time
now! And here it is... New tracks available in the VIP Lounge! For the select
few of you that have access to this area you can now download Dirty, a new
Electro influenced track. For everyone else a sample of this can now be heard at

Also, my latest remix of Sunset Room by Ambient duo Two Loons for Tea

Sonarm, a Leicester-based Trance music producer (East Midlands, UK), is
the alias used to present the Trance music production aspect of the DJ Sonarm
guise. As a Trance producer Sonarm finds his inspiration in all forms of music
that expresses emotion and reaches out to him on a musically emotional level.
Focusing on power and emotion, Dance music produced by Sonarm is always melodic and
moody while incorporating influences from genres such as Electro and Classical
and top producers & artists such as DJ Tiësto,
Ferry Corsten and Armin,
sometimes using unusual techniques to achieve an original sound.
"Being a Trance producer allows me to
be more creative as an active musician where I can plan to a great extent what I
want to achieve and adjust it until I feel it is right. It can take several
months to achieve this but it is my way of expressing myself on an intimate
level where I can let my imagination take control."

Sonarm's productions have been compared to productions by
other Trance producers such as DJ Tiësto, Push, Ferry Corsten, Kai Tracid,
Mirco de Govia and Paul Van Dyk.
The production level of the Dance music produced by Sonarm is always
detailed and professional, creating contrasts with crisp percussion, big synths,
soft strings and piercing melodies, building up in layers to achieve its height.

Sonarm tries to incorporate ideas from all styles of music he
listens to. Some of his tracks carry Electro influences while others sound more
Tribal or Techy. Sonarm finds his inspiration everywhere and tries to implement
these influences into his music without interfering too much with the intended
message. This way his tracks can sound professional but stand out from many
other tracks of a similar style also helping Sonarm himself to stand out among many
other Trance producers.
Although Sonarm's Dance music productions aren't always strictly branded
as Trance music they always contain elements that express emotion in a similar
way to Trance music and are arranged in such a way as to portray this emotion
effectively.
Sonarm also produces tracks of an ambient and atmospheric
nature as another way to put across emotion in a different sense.
"I found
a whole new mood can be created if you strip away the driving beats and bass and
work more on the mood."
Sonarm has progressed to get his music used on Internet
adverts and has since been approached by and been interviewed by companies such as
expertsonline.tv and MATV.
