Are you a DJ and
feel confident enough to play out? Maybe it’s for the first time or
you want more experience, to promote yourself or to develop your
confidence playing in a club environment.
Maybe you just want another gig or a chance to play your own material.
We are targeting DJs local to Leicester with
this opportunity but all locally-based Trance and House DJs of any ability are welcome
to apply.
There's no need
to send us a demo with your application although it will help us select
you for a gig in the future as we can differentiate between DJs and
their styles and therefore select the most suitable performer for each
gig. We also ask you to be honest with your information
to ensure the details in our database remain correct and only reliable
DJs are booked.
If you do wish to
send recorded material in support of your application record a set of at least
30
minutes that accurately portrays the musical style you play, burn it onto a
CDR along with a full track listing and you could soon be DJing at various local gigs. So get a demo
sorted out ASAP and fill out the DJ
List application form.
Alternatively, if
you have some material hosted online, include a link to your set in your
application so we can take a listen.

Once we have
received your details you will be added to a database of DJs
and as local gigs arise you may be selected to play a set dependent upon
your musical style and the musical requirements of the venue. We
look forward to hearing from you!

Unfortunately we cannot return your demo
Only demos provided on CDR will be accepted. MP3
submissions will not be accepted if sent as an attachment via email,
only when hosted online.
Disclaimer: This
is not strictly a DJ agency and gigs are not guaranteed. It is simply a
collection of local and willing performers that can be called upon as
and when a slot becomes available. This may sometimes irregular or may be at short
notice. You will always retain the right to decline gigs. Any
cancellations, where possible, must always be made directly to the venue
or to DJ Sonarm leaving no less than 48 hours notice to the day of the
booking.
